WHAT IS OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT?

For decades, Rhino Foods founder Ted Castle has been dedicated to helping employees succeed in their jobs, prosper personally, and participate fully in their communities. Under his direction, the Rhino leadership team has focused on establishing relationships with employees and their families, creating a climate of mutual trust and respect, listening empathetically, and ultimately meeting workers’ needs with creative programs that have meaningful, durable impacts on their lives.

To make a job a real opportunity, some employees will need extra support - assistance navigating social services, a recovery coach, etc. - and we believe in deploying or creativity and resources to make good on the promise of not just a job, but an opportunity.

Whether it's resource coordination, recovery support, second chance employment or any of the other strategies we deploy to create an inclusive and supportive work environment, we weren't the first and we aren't perfect.
